My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe, supportive space for clients to contemplate, explore and express their thoughts and feelings about their experiences in life. I believe that having the opportunity to review, and understand our life’s journey, which may include the past as well as the present and can help with the preparation for opportunities that may present themselves in the future. Utilizing a strength-based approach and understanding and discussing the resiliency that exists within each person, the therapeutic session/ approach can help individuals address the issues, barriers, and needs that are brought forward for discussion.
I earned my master’s degree in Social Work at Rhode Island College and have years of clinical experience working with a diverse range of clients. I specialize in working with adults, from young adults to older adults. I have experience working with physical health issues, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, and adjustment issues. I use an eclectic therapeutic approach.
