It can feel incredibly heavy when you’re carrying a burden alone. Reaching out for support is a courageous and meaningful first step. You may be feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or self-doubt, or stuck in old emotional habits or coping strategies that no longer help. Addictive behaviors may offer brief comfort, and major life transitions can place a deeper strain on your well-being. Therapy offers a safe space to slow down, understand what’s happening beneath the surface, and reconnect with the strengths and values that already live within you.
I integrate evidence-based, cognitive, and neuroscience-informed approaches to help you understand your patterns with clarity and compassion. Together, we build practical coping skills, strengthen boundaries, and develop tools that support emotional regulation and intentional action. My work centers on the mind–body–brain connection—exploring not just why you react, but how to shift those responses in ways that promote lasting well-being. Drawing on a masters degree in psychology, my MEd from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and decades in school and college settings, I bring a grounded, developmentally informed, and culturally attuned lens to our work. As someone who has worked and lived across continents, including 20 years in Brazil, I deeply value how identity, family, and lived experience shape healing.
As a collaborative and compassionate Certified Addictions Counselor and supervised LADC, I strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you feel understood, respected, and empowered. Therapy is a partnership: you bring your story, strengths, and cultural wisdom, and I provide structure, skills, and curiosity to guide the process. My goal is to help you cultivate clarity, resilience, and self-trust that endures beyond our sessions. If you’re ready to move toward sustainable balance and well-being, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
