Welcome to TCA Counseling. By accessing our website, scheduling an appointment, or using our services (in-person or via teletherapy), you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

TCA Counseling offers professional mental health services, including:

  • Individual Adult Counseling

  • Couples Counseling

  • LGBTQ Therapy

  • Teen Therapy

Services are available both in-person at our Boston, MA office and through secure teletherapy platforms.


2. Eligibility

By using our services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age, or a parent/guardian is providing consent for a minor.

  • You will provide accurate and truthful information when scheduling and participating in sessions.


3. Appointments & Cancellations

  • Appointments must be scheduled in advance.

  • Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time. Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in fees as outlined during the intake process.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel sessions in the event of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.


4. Confidentiality

Your privacy is important to us. All information shared during sessions is protected under HIPAA guidelines. Information may only be disclosed with your consent or as required by law (e.g., risk of harm to self or others, or court orders).


5. Teletherapy Sessions

  • Teletherapy services are conducted using HIPAA-compliant platforms.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure you participate in a secure, private location with a stable internet connection.

  • TCA Counseling is not responsible for interruptions caused by technical issues on the client’s end.


6. Fees & Payments

  • Fees for services will be communicated prior to your first session.

  • Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.

  • Accepted payment methods will be disclosed during the intake process.


7. No Emergency Services

TCA Counseling does not provide crisis or emergency services.

  • If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

  • You may also contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for immediate support.


8. Limitation of Liability

While TCA Counseling provides professional counseling services, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. By using our services, you agree that TCA Counseling and its providers are not liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages resulting from the use of our services.


9. Website Use

  • Content on our website is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment, or advice.

  • Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of our website content is prohibited.


10. Changes to Terms

TCA Counseling reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
